What is an airtrack?
An airtrack is an inflatable gymnastics mat designed for safe, cushioned training. It provides bounce and support for activities like tumbling, flips, yoga, stretching, and fitness routines, while being soft on joints and easy to use indoors or outdoors.
What size airtrack should I get?
Choose the size of your airtrack based on your training goals and space. A 10-foot airtrack with 4-inch thickness is ideal for home use, basic skills, stretching, or beginner tumbling. For more dynamic routines, conditioning, or shared use, a 13-foot or longer model with 8-inch thickness offers added bounce, support, and landing space—similar to professional training mats.
What is an airtrack mat used for?
Airtrack mats are used for gymnastics, cheerleading, tricking, parkour, and fitness training. They provide a stable yet cushioned surface, making it safer to practice skills like handstands, cartwheels, flips, and mobility drills. The soft bounce reduces joint impact while supporting skill development. Some models can also be used as floating mats on water for added fun and versatility.
What makes an Acon airtrack different?
Acon airtracks are crafted for comfort, safety, and high-performance use. The air-filled design cushions landings and provides the right level of bounce forgymnastics, cheer, or parkour. Reinforced seams and an anti-slip surface enhance safety and durability, while a center line helps align tricks and flips. Built-in handles make them easy to move, and Velcro connectors allow you to link or stack multiple mats for more versatile setups
How to inflate an airtrack?
Roll out the airtrack on a clean, flat surface. Attach the included pump securely to the valve and inflate to around 5–6 PSI, or to your preferred firmness for the right amount of bounce. Once inflated, remove the pump and close the valve tightly. To deflate, press the valve button and let the air release. Always store your airtrack clean, dry, and in its carry bag—ready for your next session.
